Trisha opposite Kamal in Marmayogi!

Trisha has her hands full. Despite the fact that she is quite busy in Telugu with three films (King, Venky’s Krishnum Vande Jagadguru and Ravi Teja’s next), all the big directors and senior actors are preferring her now to be their leading lady. It is learnt that Kamal Haasan has roped her in for his ambitious bilingual flick - Marmayogi. For long, she has been longing to act with the legendary actor and finally she got the opportunity. So Trisha has immediately said yes to the project, sources said.

One such person who has gone the more sophisticated way is the more elegant and suave Nagarjuna who has arranged for a special team to cover the inside out profile of Chiru for the MAA channel. According to this formula, the team will be ready with some of the most uniquely crafted programs on the Megastar and upon his behest; the programs will be screened in the channel as special features.

They will talk about his unique approach towards his tasks, his vision in politics. His days of hard work, his films and his successes and many such things which will give an inside look of Chiru and that too in the most impressive way. With Nag at the helm, one can imagine the impact it will have on the audience.

Nagarjuna Planning Dad‘s B‘Day InBigway

Anything that has to do with Superstar Nagarjuna has to be filled with class and style and lately, there has not been much noise from the Akkineni camp except the launch of new stars from their families.

It looks like the time has now come since Akkineni Nageswara Rao is all set to celebrate his 85th birthday on September 20th. There is news that Nag is coming up with some real major plans on that special day and all that is currently being kept in wraps given the strictness of ANR and how he might react. We have to see what that grandness would be.

For now, the concrete news is that will be the launch date of the new film that will be marking the debut of Naga Chaitanya, son of Nagarjuna as the hero. This is being directed by Vasu Verma and produced by Dil Raju.

Chiranjeevi’s public meet likely to break all records

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is all set to break many records by entering into politics. The first among the records is — there are no adverse remarks against him after his recent announcement about his entry into politics. According to intelligence reports, over 20 lakh people are likely to attend the public meeting to be organized to announce the party name, logo and the flag on the occasion of Mother Teresa’s birth anniversary on August 26. On normal occasions like the audio release of 100 days function of Chiranjeevi’s film, over 10 lakh people used to gather voluntarily, with no mobilization of people like the political parties. When the Mega Star is going to announce his party, it is a mega occasion and hence people from across the state, irrespective of Andhra, Telangana or Rayalaseema regions and with no bias in cast, creed or religion, would definitely throng the venue, to prove that we are the fans of Chiranjeevi. Let us remind that at least 10 lakh people attended the 100 days function of ‘Master’ organized in Vizag, which is a record in the country’s history.

Now each and every fan is getting ready to witness the mega event of the hoisting of party flag of Chiranjeevi’s party and the occasion would remain safely written in ‘Golden Letters’ in the world history. Above all, several politicians, who are going to support Chiranjeevi, are also mobilizing people to the public meet. It is learnt that Chiranjeevi told his close associates, to ensure a smooth travel for all those who are attending the debut public meet. Arrangements are being made to telecast the programme live in all the television channels, irrespective of local, national and international media. Everyone is eagerly awaiting the Chiru’s speech at the public meeting. Let us wait and see

Chiranjeevi to celebrate 53rd birthday in new avatar

Chiranjeevi to celebrate 53rd birthday in new avatar

Hyderabad, Aug 20 (IANS) Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi will celebrate his 53rd birthday Friday in his new avatar of a politician.

His fans will celebrate the occasion on a grand scale as it comes at a crucial turning point in the actor's career. Hundreds of his fans are likely to descend on the state capital to wish him well on the occasion.

Chiru, as he is popularly known, announced his entry into politics last Sunday and said he was dedicating his life to serve people. He will formally launch the party and announce its agenda at the public meeting to be held at temple town of Tirupati Aug 26.

Though his fans were expecting that he would launch the party on his birthday, he preferred to do it on the birth anniversary of Mother Teresa. The actor told his maiden press conference Sunday that he was inspired by Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life to serve the needy.

Chiru, who has been acting in films for 30 years, was already engaged in social service and runs a blood and eye bank here. As he dons a new role, his fans are eagerly waiting to see him as the next Andhra Pradesh chief minister.

Chiru has a huge fan-following, comparable with that of thespian N.T. Rama Rao, who had taken the state politics by storm by floating Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982. NTR had come to power within nine months after launching the party.

Born on Aug 22, 1955 in Mogalturu, a small village in coastal district of West Godavari in the family of an excise constable, Chiru's real name is Konidela Siva Shankara Varaprasad. After doing graduation in commerce, he began his film career in 1978 and carved a niche for himself with his image of an action hero.

The actor Wednesday appealed to his fans not take trouble of travelling to Hyderabad to wish him and urged them to instead do their bit of social service in their towns and villages.

Chiru advised his fans to stay in their places and take up social activities like distributing books among students and fruits among patients in the hospitals. He also reminded them that after the meeting at Tirupati, he would visit towns and villages as part of his state-wide tour.

Meanwhile, support continues to swell for the actor as two leaders who quit TDP recently joined his party. Former MP Bhuma Nagi Reddy and his wife and former state legislator Shoba Nagi Reddy joined Chiru's party at his office here Wednesday.

Hailing from Kurnool district in the Rayalseema region, the couple quit TDP last month. Their resignation was a big blow to TDP in the region notorious for factional violence.

Welcoming them in his party, Chiru hoped they would change the politics of Rayalseema. "The political culture of Rayalseema is known to everybody. They have joined hands with me and are ready to bring change and respectability to politics," the actor told reporters.

Senior Congress leader and former MP Hariram Jogaiah joined Chiru's party Tuesday. Jogaiah quit the Lok Sabha and the Congress Sunday, soon after the actor announced his entry into politics.

Sridevi sets for Mega comeback

Sridevi is all set to make a grand comeback in the film industry. If the sources are to believed, she will soon be seen in a sequel to the 1987 hit, Mr. India. Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor and his brother Anil Kapoor, who played the lead in Mr. India, will once again team up for this ambitious project. The characters of Seema played by Sridevi and Arun played by Anil Kapoor in Mr. India will be carried forward in the sequel.
A source said, “Sridevi will be back with the film and the script is being finalised. The film will be a sequel and not a remake of Mr. India. Boney is leaving no stone unturned to make the film bigger and better than the first part. Boney is also planning to tie up with a major SFX company. This film is the key reason why Sridevi turned down so many film offers recently.”

Balakrishna with NTR in his next film

Babai Nandamuri Balakrishna with be acting with his son Ntr in the latter's next film. According to our reporter Bannu, Balakrishna will be doing a major role in Ntr next film under V.V.Vinayak direction.

Vinayak and Ntr requested Balakrishna to act in their film and the Natasimham obliged their request. The main reason for this is the re union between Nandamuri family members and Jr Ntr. This re union was a part of political agenda of Chandra Babu Naidu in making the Nandamuri clan campaign for his Telugu Desam party.

Finally ‘Homam’ is on 28th August

As per the announcement film Homam is projected to be released worldwide on 28th August.

The premier show of the film is scheduled to be carried out at INOX multiplex situated in Vijayawada, on the eve of the release i.e. on 27th August.

Hero Vikram Available on cell No: 9884111111

Hero Vikram is still known for people as ‘Aparichithudu‘. The hang over of that film is so strong that people hardly forget him from that film in near future. Now he is acting in the film ‘Kanthasamy‘ (Mallanna in Telugu).

Vikram is so open that that he raised curtain for a new practice. He declared his personal mobile number( 9884111111) to public and asked his fans to keep in regular touch with him either by calls or by SMSes. He said that as it becomes difficult for him to lift the calls all the time, it is better to SMS so that he can reply in considerable time, if the question is a valid one. He also said that his website will also be open for his fans for 24 x 7 postings. So after Bollywood heroes, it is Vikram who is open for all this. Chiranjeevi‘s press meet today 2:30pm

Megastar Chiranjeevi will address the press meet today afternoon at 2.30. Chiru is going to answer various questions posed by journalists.

At the same time, Megastar is going to thank the film industry for helping in shaping his career to Megastar. Megastar also announce that he would be retiring from the film industry for ever. Megastar is not interested to go in both films and politics.

Salutes to Kalaam and NTR:CHIRU

Chiranjeevi pulled crowds to his party office stating that there would be party announcement. But he didn‘t announce completely and only given a pilot appearance. He declared that everything will be declared only on 26th of August. Let us see what he announced today.

Salutes to Kalaam and NTR:
"This is an unforgettable day in my life. This day is turning my life from film industry to political field. This day is the day of destiny that is gifted by God to take oath for service to society. This day is a great boon for me which garlands only a few. I lead a very peaceful life as an actor for the last 30 years. And now I‘m stepping into the field where I cannot act but only live. I live for people and with people. I got a very big push from all corners of society. I met many scholars before taking decision. I had a very long discussion with APJ Abdul Kalam who inspired me a lot. He said that many students in India are showing interest to become doctors, engineers, astronauts and scientists but not politicians. The image of a politician in India is very bad. That should be changed. And here I‘m there to bring that change. And I salute Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao or inspiring me a lot as a leader from cine industry. I ardently salute Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Ambedkar and Phule who have dedicated their lives from better Indian society. I announce my party name, flag and agenda on 26th of August"

Rivalry with Neither YSR Nor Naidu:
When a journalist asked who Chiranjeevi‘s political rival is, he answered, "I have no rivalry with present parties. And there wouldn‘t be any in future. My rivalry is with hunger, diseases and poor living standards. I fight with them for rest of my life".

Return To Film Industry:
When asked if there is any chance to act again on screen, he said, "I‘m deeply sad for retiring from film industry. But I may act again on screen if a role commands me which will be useful for society. I do that as a part of social service only".

Before 30 Years:
"Everyone knows what I did in past 30 years. But no one knows what I did earlier to that. I hailed from a middle class constable family. I used to plough land those days. I know what irrigation is and what agriculture is".

My Sensitiveness:
"People say I may not be fit for politics as I‘m sensitive. But I say that today‘s plight is bad as politicians are not sensitive at heart. I feel my sensitive heart may understand the problems of people in better way and find immediate solutions for those problems. My sensitive heart is required for betterment of society, I feel (laughs)".

Thanks To Media:
I thank media for being a bridge between me and people. I cannot speak anything more than this today and everything has to be heard on 26th August.

My Experience:
"People question about my experience in politics. I certainly don‘t know politics. I don‘t know how many groups of blood are there. I only know that blood is a key factor in life and that‘s how I started blood bank. Similarly, I know that the duty of politician is service and nothing more

finally Mega train Confirmed - Details

Finally MegaStar Chiranjeevi Party details are out, this is a great pleasure to all his well wishers - friends - more specially to the fans of Chiru.

The symbol of Chiranjeevi Political Party is ‘TRAIN‘ and name of party is ‘LABOR‘ - Color of flag would be Red - Blue - Green. This was confirmed by Allu Arvind - brother in law of Megastar Chiranjeevi and he further stated that official launch of party along with agenda would be announced during August, probably on 22nd August.

This news would be a wonderful news for fans as well somewhat sleepless moments for political parties.

The baby has arrived before the party. Though the talk of Megastar Chiranjeevi entering politics has been going on for more than a year, his second daughter Srija catapulted the megastar to a new status, that of a grandfather. Srija gave birth to a baby girl at Taraporewala Nursing Home, East Marredpally, on Saturday at around 9.30 am.

Srija had run away from home and married her lover Sirish Bharadwaj on October 17 last year at an Arya Samaj mandir in Bowenpally.

The new arrival brought the two families—Srija‘s and Sirish‘s—together for the first time. Also, an elated Chiranjeevi called up his daughter and conveyed his happiness.

Earlier in the day, Chiranjeevi‘s wife Surekha, son Ram Charan Teja and brother-in-law Allu Arvind met the new mother and the new-born at nursing home. When asked why the star himself had not turned up, Surekha said: "He is not in the city and is busy." The actor is likely to meet her late in night as he did not want any media attention.

Chiranjeevi spoke to Srija over the phone and blessed his grandchild. "He told his daughter that he is happy with the news and his blessings are with her," a close relative of the family said.

A very tired Srija, who underwent a Caesarean operation, said she "is happy to be a mother". "We wanted it to be a low-profile event," she added.

The couple said that they were not expecting Chiranjeevi‘s family members to turn up and when they did it came as a surprise. "Srija and the baby were blessed both by her mother, her brother and uncle. Though there were problems, they did turn up after the delivery. Since this was the first meeting after the marriage, it was an emotional moment for all of us," Sirish told media. "Though the delivery was scheduled for August, it had to be done earlier. It is a premature baby," Sirish Bharadwaj said.

Though locals came to see the mother and child, no one was allowed to see the baby. The new father said veda pandits from Rajahmundry would come to do pujas for the new born.

Chiru unfurls national flag at party office

As a prelude to his imminent political role, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi on Friday hoisted the national tricolour at his new party office here.

The actor, who is scheduled to announce his political entry at a press conference here on Sunday next, unfurled the tricolour at the party office in posh Jubilee Hills.

Clad in a white kurta and pyjama, he came to the party office at 11:00 am and waved to a large number of his fans who had gathered outside the office building.

Looking cheerful, he spent time with a group of mentally-challenged children.

Talking to reporters after hoisting the national flag, Chiranjeevi said he was reminded of his experience as an NCC cadet while in college.

"I was very active in NCC. The flag hoisting and singing the national anthem myself remind me those days. I hope for good days for all of us," he said.

Chiranjeevi had participated in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi as an NCC cadet in the early 70s.
The mega star of Telugu cinema is scheduled to announce his political foray on Sunday next.

"Chiranjeevi will announce on 17th that he is entering politics," his brother-in-law and noted film producer Allu Aravind said last night.

The announcement would be followed by a massive public meeting on August 26 in Tirupati where the actor is expected to outline the policies and programmes of his party.

Chandrababu about Chiru party

TDP supreme and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for the first time broke his silence over the proposed party of actor Chiranjeevi. Talking to reporters at Anantapur today, after holding the party's politburo meet, Naidu said that Chiranjeevi was making a hasty jump into politics. He shot a direct question at the social service activities of the actor, "What did he do to society so far?" Referring to the activities of Chiranjeevi Blood Bank, Naidu said that TDP had been organizing such blood donation campaign since for long. Meanwhile, the TDP politburo termed Chiranjeevi's ready for launch party as a meteor, "which emerges with mighty radiance only to disappear after its stuff is burnt."

The party office of Chiranjeevi was inaugurated during the midnight of 10 August. Chiranjeevi along with his family members graced the occasion and performed special poojas

Speaking to the media after the inauguration, Chiranjeevi said, “I would like to extend my condolences to the bereaved families who lost their lives in the incessant rains occurred in the past 3 three days. All these events will happen in this month. I would be answering all the questions posed by the media on the day of my party announcement."

Cinema Halls -The INOX experience in Vijayawada

inox in vijayawada

Vijayawada’s love for film has been talked about for many years now. People here love to watch films for two reasons… Films continue to be the main source of entertainment and the town has ardent fan following. With many super heroes and their countless fans, Vijayawada turns in to a festive wada with release of each big film.

Vijayawada’s moviegoers recently found a new and exciting location to view the latest movies with the opening of INOX at Gandhi Nagar. The theatre houses 3 screens and 1087 seats. For people like me who love to watch films but never venture in to theatres in the first few days of release because of difficulty in getting tickets and also in order to avoid the fan mania, INOX came as a blessing in disguise.

Watching films has never been so easy. Now, when I want to watch a new film, I just open my laptop, choose the film and the seating, enter my credit card details and that’s it…I’m ready to leave. I have my tickets on my mobile screen This motivated me enough to watch even two movies on some Sundays.

Entry of INOX to Vijayawada only proves that India's multiplex bandwagon has gone beyond the metros to redefine entertainment in B and C class towns. While the first phase of the multiplex story saw emergence of multiplexes in metros and now this growth is spreading to Tier 2 and 3 cities. With box office collections from non metros, expected to move up by the day why would the giants ignore smaller towns. Fact remains that non metros contribute to 65% of the total box office collections.

Though the feeling of watching your favorite film in INOX is exciting, It goes without saying that it is way beyond the means of a common man. Tickets here are priced at Rs.80/- when you purchase at the counter and Rs.90/- when you book online. Snacks are expensive too. On one side there is an affluent section here which has stopped going to regular theaters for watching films and on the other side there is a section which feels that INOX experience is only for the affluent and not for commoners.

Kathanayakudu Movie Review

Story:

Superstar Ashok Kumar (Rajnikanth) comes to a small village, Circilla, along with the film unit to shoot a film there. He stays in a guest house there for about one month as part of the shooting.

Balakrishna (Jagapathi Babu) is a poor barber who struggles to eke out a living with his dilapidated saloon and an old creaky chair. He has a wife Sridevi (Meena) and three children. He is so poor that he is unable to even pay the school fees for his children.

Balakrishna longs to buy a new revolving chair and modernize his saloon but no one in the village is ready to lend him the money.

Balakrishna’s life changes after the arrivl of Ashok Kumar into the village. The villagers come to know that Balakrishna is a childhood friend of AshokKumar. Evwryone starts treating Balakrishna with new respect in the hope of meeting the superstar.

But Balakrishna is not sure if his childhood friend still remembers him. He does make an attempt to meet Ashok Kumar despite prodding by his family members and the villagers. Balakrishna does not want to take advantage of the stardom of his friend and his riches. Ashok Kumar wraps up shooting and is about to leave the village when he I invited by the school principal Geetha, to be the chief guest for the school anniversary.

Balakrishna’s children also doubt if their father is really a friend of Ashok Kumar. This hurts him immensely but he suffers in silence.

When his wife Sridevi asks him to take her to the school so that she can at least catch a glimpse of the hero, Balakrishna agrees and takes her to the school. There, they stand in the back row amidst a huge gathering.

When Ashok Kumar is asked to make a speech, he recollects his childhood days and tells that it was due to the help and sacrifice made by his childhood friend Balakrishna that he has become such a big superstar today. Ashok Kumar’s emotional speech moves everyone and Balakrishna is happy that his childhood friend still remembers him.

The superstar then turns up at his friend’s house and the two long lost friends are finally united.

Performance:

The film’s big draw is undoubtedly superstar Rajnikanth. He does his job of a superstar with ease. Some of the trademark Rajnikanth mannerism are missing but the director has more than made up for them by giving Rajnikanth some good action scenes and also a couple of duets.

Nayanatara adds glamour to the film. She also gets to dance in the rain wearing a very short skirt.

The film is actually Jagapathi Babu’s. He does a wonderful job and his performance is really impressive and is definitely the highlight of the film.

Meena gives him admirable support as a dutiful and loving wife. However Meena’s dress (well cut blouses and neat hand printed starched and ironed cotton sarees) and her makeup do not gel with her status as the poor wife of a poor barber.

Sunil has a lengthy role and he manages to raise some laughs. Dharmavarapu once gain plays the familiar role of a wannabe producer.

Geetha makes an appearance after a long time and she plays the role of the school principal and she does a neat job. Prabhu plays the role of a inspector.

Rajnikanth’s daughter Soundarya makes a fleeting appearance in the film. She is shown discussing something with director P Vasu. Mamatha Mohandas appears briefly as a assistant director. Khushboo, Sneha and others make a guest appearance.

In the song “Superstar… superstar…” NT Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Kannada Rajkumar, MGR, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, JR. NTR and others are shown.

The film runs slowly in the first half and all the action is in the second half. The music is okay but the village set looks very artificial. It is supposed to be a village but it looks more like set from a cowboy film in Hollywood.

TS Verdict :

The film is worth watching for its simple but effective storyline and the brilliant performance of Jagapathi Babu. Rajnikanth is an undisputed superstar but as far as the film goes, it is Jagpathi Babu who is the real star.

Now Pawan Kalyan is Free From Nandini

Actor Pawan Kalyan is free from the wedlock. A high filmy drama finally separated the couple. Even the separation, which held at the family court in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, preceded another high drama, everything to divert the attention of the media.

The members of the media were waiting outside the family court when members of both parties have arrived. Pawan Kalyan, along with a select group of supporters entered the court. Nandini’s family, which dragged Pawan Kalyan to the court, played different game all together.

Nandini’s father presented girls who look like Nandini (dupes) in about half-a-dozen cars, just to mislead the media persons. As the media persons were trying to identify the real Nandini, the original had gone into the court and declared that she agreed for divorce.

Anything that happens in the film families would appear like another film. Be it divorce case of Pawan Kalyan or the opening of the party office of Chiranjeevi. It will be conducted like a film in the filmy style. Right from the filing of the case to the out-of-the-court settlement, a number of episodes were seen by the people for the past 14 months. And every episode was a movie for itself.

Brahmanandam to say good-bye to acting!

Star comedian Brahmanandam is the main pillar to many of the recent blockbusters. In recent films like Krishna, Ready, Dhee, etc, he played a role that is almost equal to the lead hero. Many other writers and directors now are also writing lengthy characters keeping him in mind in the forthcoming films. But the rumor is that he is all set to give a break to acting for a few days.

Buzz is that he is entering into politics this year and contest the elections on Chiranjeevi’s forthcoming party. According to our sources, Chiru has confirmed an assembly seat for the star comedian. So Brahmanandam is fast finishing his present commitments and wants to be ‘free’ by the year-end

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi begins political career

Hyderabad, Aug 11 (IANS): Andhra Pradesh politics took a glamorous turn Monday with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi beginning his much-awaited political journey by inaugurating the office of his party. He will formally launch the party later this month.

Chiranjeevi told reporters that he would launch the party "before the end of this month" and would make an announcement "in a couple of days".

The actor, who had so far confined himself to social service, is launching his party when the state is gearing up for the elections scheduled early next year.

The posh office built in the upmarket Jubilee Hills neighbourhood was inaugurated by the actor in the early hours Monday in the presence of his family members, close aides and two rebel leaders of the ruling Congress party and the main opposition Telugu Desam Party.

Amid chanting of Vedic hymns by priests, the office was opened at 12.50 a.m., as per the ‘mahuratam’ set by astrologers. The family performed special prayers to seek divine blessings. The function was held in secret and the media was not invited.

However, as the word spread about the actor’s arrival, a large number of his fans and media persons gathered outside. Dancing in gay abandon, the actor’s fans raised slogans and expressed their confidence that their hero would be the next chief minister.

The actor’s mother Anjana Devi, wife Surekha, brothers Nagendra Babu and Pavan Kalyan, son Ravicharan Teja, brother-in-law and key adviser Allu Arvind and close aides Mitra and K.S.R. Murthy were present.

Rebel Congress MP Hariram Jogaiah and former minister K. Vidyadhar Rao, who was expelled from the TDP recently, also attended the function. Jogaiah and Rao earned the ire of their leadership by openly supporting Chiranjeevi.

Talking to newsmen, Chiranjeevi defended conducting the function in a secret manner, saying it was done as per Hindu traditions. "Now, nothing will remain secret," declared the actor, who has been ruling the Telugu film industry for over two decades.

"The party will be launched before the end of this month. We will announce the date, venue, party name in a couple of days," Chiranjeevi said.

"I know the people’s pulse - they are waiting for me to announce the launch of my party," said the 53-year-old actor, who enjoys a huge fan following in the state.

He is likely to launch the party at a massive public meeting in the temple town of Tirupati on Aug 22, his birthday. Allu Arvind recently visited Tirupati to choose a venue for the public meeting.

The actor expressed his grief over the devastation caused by heavy rains and flash floods in the state and appealed to his fans to help the victims. "I appeal to my fans to lend a helping hand to those affected by the floods," he said.

In November last year, one of Chiranjeev’s close aides claimed that he had decided to launch a party. The speculations led to his fans holding meetings in different parts of the state to urge him to make an early announcement.

Chiru, as he is popularly known, came out with a statement few days later, appealing to his fans to remain patient till he makes an announcement. Continuing the suspense, the actor had said in January that he needed more time to take a decision.

However, in the last three months, Chiranjeevi’s brothers and aides held meetings with trade unions, women, IT professionals and other sections of society at different places in the state to prepare the ground for the party’s launch.

People are drawing a parallel with thespian N.T. Rama Rao’s political entry in 1982. He had come to power within nine months of launching the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

After formally launching the party, Chiranjeevi is likely to undertake a state-wide tour on a special chariot. State assembly elections are due next March

Nitin’s love story, a promotional gimmick?

The grapevine is abuzz with rumors that Bhavana who did films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu has fallen in love with Nitin! Are they really in love or is it just another rumor that occasionally plagues Tollywood? Both of them are currently acting in a film, directed by GV and produced by Manyam Ramesh. Bhavana entered Telugu films with Gopichand’s Ontari, which was a hit. Recently, Bhavana told a Malayalam film magazine that heroines in Tamil and Telugu need not be good actresses, but have to be glamorous.
She says that in today’s cinema, irrespective of the language, the hero is more important than the heroines. Bhavana is not bothered about the length of her role in Tamil or Telugu movies. To be paired opposite a hot and happening hero is what seems to matter to her! Her closeness to Nitin is seen by Telugu industry veterans as a promotional gimmick to give the hero a badly-needed hit!
